DossierFacile
Free government digital service
A free government digital service, built as a state startup within the French DINUM's beta.gouv.fr program and launched in 2018. DossierFacile lets prospective tenants assemble a complete rental application that is checked and certified by public officials, then share it securely with landlords or letting agencies. The service adds an official state label and an anti-fraud watermark to validated documents, protecting against identity theft and the fraudulent reuse of paperwork. The platform has passed 2 million accounts created, with the second million reached 4.7 times faster than the first, a sign of rapidly accelerating adoption. According to the service's own figures, DossierFacile users increase their chances of securing a property viewing by 24%. The goal for 2025 is to move toward automatic application assembly via FranceConnect. More than 2 million accounts created, second million reached 4.7 times faster than the first, a 370% acceleration in account creation, over 40,000 registered landlords, 24% higher chances of securing a viewing, a target marginal cost of EUR 1.50 per validated application, a beta.gouv.fr state startup launched in 2018, FranceConnect integration under way
