Founded in 2013 by Virgile Delporte (CEO), Frederic Clec'H and Max Brun, including a modernist notary and an engineer specialized in cybersecurity, Testamento is the only French site offering online drafting of a holographic will with genuine legal validity. Its tools cover will drafting, advance healthcare directives, asset inventory and a digital vault, all overseen by partner notaries and lawyers. The company has raised more than 3.68 million euros from strategic investors in the insurance sector: La France Mutualiste, Allianz through its InnovAllianz fund, and Malakoff Mederic Humanis through MM Innov'. Its team of around twenty employees is based in Paris, at 91 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore. Testamento has built around ten partnerships with major players in banking, insurance and mutual-insurance, including Generali, AXA and MACIF, in a B2B2C model through its Testamento for Business offering.
