Founded in 2014 in Tel Aviv by a corporate lawyer and a machine learning expert, LawGeex demonstrated in a joint study with Stanford and Duke universities that its AI reaches 94% accuracy versus 85% for human lawyers, while cutting review time from several hours to a few seconds. The solution integrates with legal teams' existing workflows and draws on thousands of pre-built legal concepts to understand nuanced contractual language. In September 2023, LawGeex was acquired by LegalSifter, bringing together two major players in automated contract review. The company's revenue reached 22 million dollars in 2024 with more than 2,000 active clients. The platform handles NDAs, sales contracts, service agreements and commercial leases among its most frequently processed document types. The Managed AI approach lets companies combine the speed of automation with human oversight from legal experts for the most sensitive clauses. LawGeex raised 41.5 million dollars in total across four funding rounds, the most recent being a 20 million dollar Series C in 2020 from Corner Ventures, Lool Ventures and Aleph. 41.5M dollars raised in total (including 20M dollars in Series C in 2020), 22M dollars in revenue in 2024, more than 2,000 clients, acquired by LegalSifter in September 2023
