Pioneering French platform for investing in crypto-assets, founded in 2014 as La Maison du Bitcoin by Eric Larcheveque and Thomas France, who also co-founded Ledger. The first company to obtain PSAN registration (Digital Asset Service Provider) with the AMF, France's financial markets regulator, in March 2020, Coinhouse serves around 500,000 retail and institutional clients in buying, selling, custody and management of more than 55 crypto-assets. The company is preparing for the transition to the European MiCA regime, which will replace the PSAN framework from 30 June 2026, and positions itself as a regulated, secure alternative to offshore platforms, with euro deposits managed through a Societe Generale subsidiary. Around 500,000 client accounts, the first PSAN registered with the AMF in March 2020, EUR 57M raised in total including EUR 40M in 2022 from Oddo BHF, True Global Ventures, Raise Ventures, Tioga Capital, XAnge Siparex and ConsenSys. Co-founded by the creators of Ledger.
