Overview

France's first Legal Care application, designed to simplify the management of administrative and legal procedures for employees. Founded in 2018 under the name Avostart by Raphael Jabol (formerly of L'Oreal), Stephane Le Viet (serial entrepreneur) and Pierre Aidan (co-founder of Legalstart), then renamed Ekie in March 2022, the platform connects beneficiaries with a network of bar-registered lawyers, covering every area of law without exception. The service is offered as an employee benefit by companies and works councils (CSE), and extends to the beneficiary's family at no extra cost. Ekie works with major companies such as Amazon, Thales, LVMH, L'Oreal, Novartis, La Banque Postale and Societe Generale, and has signed a strategic partnership with Edenred to expand its distribution. The platform has delivered more than 200,000 lawyer consultations and reports a 98% satisfaction rate among members who have used it. EUR 2M raised in 2021 from OneRagtime and BNP Paribas Developpement, backed by Google since 2021, partnership with Edenred, more than 450,000 beneficiaries across 750 works councils and companies, more than 200,000 lawyer consultations delivered, 4.8/5 on Google (1,200+ reviews), partnerships with Amazon, Thales, LVMH, L'Oreal, Novartis
